At first, the purpose of this project was to create a landscape.
As I was working with chipboard, I realized the shadows
I created were really interesting.
I decided to use Bristol to create shadows. Scoring the paper
instead of cutting helped me carry out my intention. Each of the
three photographs above was made of only one piece of Bristol.
My final model was made of Rockite. I wanted to design something
that would capture shadow with the use of strong geometric shapes.
